Kauri Dieback

Kauri is New Zealand's biggest tree. It can grow to over 50 meters tall and the trunk girths up to,
16 meters. Did you know that these trees can live to over 2000 years?! But sadly our Kauri is dying.
A disease is killing our great giants as we speak, they say it's like finding a cure for cancer.
The future of our kauri forests is at risk from a disease called kauri dieback.
Combating the spread of this threat requires expertise from both Western science and
mātauranga Māori and needs  everyone to get involved.

              Help our kauri

  1. Your post is very descriptive and it shows that you have researched about your topic. I have been to the Kauri forests up North and they are amazing, I hope you have the chance to visit them in the future. Check your work using a reader writer and also you could add more colour to catch the eye of your viewers. Why did you post this, what gave you the inspiration, what have you been working on in class?
