Miss Journee

Oh Miss Journee                      

Is she at the bay?           

Diving at Cay?

At this time of day?!

Did we have fun?

I'm sad that we're done

You're name is not un

You made a home run

Did she leave cause we're bad?

Did she leave cause of the lads?

I tried not to act fad

You were so rad!

Did you enjoy our time?

Are you eating lime?

You're worth more than a dime

Do you like my rhyme?!

Meanings:

( cay-a reef off the southern coast of Florida. Un- a female name. Fad- an interest that is exaggerated. Dime- a United States coin worth 10c.)

What I enjoyed

The food fridge

On Wednesday the 30th of August my class, room 1, went to the New Brighton food fridge. We carried  a supermarket bag each or 2 cans and walked down the street to the food fridge. Some of the food we had was spaghetti 🍝 caned curry and peaches 🍑 etc. When we got there we took turns going into the fridge and placing our food into the fridge. The cans went on the bottom (so they didn't fall and hurt on others) the Pasta and light foods went on the top shelf.

We all really loved getting out side to help our community. If you want to help the New Brighton Community please come with some food and donate to the food fridge.

Ski trip

Ski trip

 I personally  I think we should have a ski trip they're many reasons why we should and I think you will agree with me once you have finished reading my exposition.

 First of all, I think it would be cool to have a day off school, and not have to worry about  School. Is students, at this age are usually working hard to get to a good high school  because the work we do now, will affect what we have in the future, and the high school  we go to will affect the college and that will affect our Time spent at univercity, and the rest of our lives. Just a little bit of fun and time to think,  it Will make a difference, not just now, but later on in life.

 The second reason is that some of us has never been on a ski field and it would be good for us to have experience in different things.  It would be good skills for later on in life, if you don't know how to ski and end up skiing later when you're older,  you're not going to one it is easily as when you were young,  it is always best to learn skills at a young age. It is as people say, it is best to train early, like a puppy, always teach dogs tricks at a young age, because  when they are  older they're not learning things doing the things that they been taugh to do, It's the same with us .

 The last reason why we should have a  ski trip, is because we Live by the beach  and we don't usually see snow  for ever frost! So it would be a really cool experience to go skiing.  Some people have grown up by the sea and haven't even felt snow!  It would also help us where older to remember our school because will be able to say how school was great it even took us Skiing! And we head great experience is different environment.

We should have a ski trip, we work hard, it would be a good skill and exsperience, and after all, we do live by the beach. We should have a ski trip

Dear class mates...

Please vote for me. I think I would be a great class captain, and together, could make a difference in our class room.

I think I would be a great class captain because I'm good at organising, so you can rely on me to make last minute desitions, for example, once I made a really good birthday party 🎉 schedule, and the guests were going to arrive soon.

Arn't you sick and tired of your teacher moaning that we didn't clean up properly? Our teacher doesn't really want to clean it up and that could stop now, we could, together, make a difference and can help one another, I mean, who wants a grumpy teacher, NOT ME! We could make our class more organised and that way we could learn in a Fum way. We are the senior class, and if we have an organised class, it will teach the others .

There are some things I could change , for example, in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays we have morning prayers, and I know for a fact that some people don't really take it seriously, and I personally think that it is important to listen and pay attention, and sometimes we don't even mean what we say like, for exsample, I'm going to be kind by helping kid in the playground or sit with new people, but we don't really do it and we didn't mean it. I think we need to be more engaged in prayers, so no making around, and no saying thing that you're not actually going to do, we are year 7 and 8s, we should be able to do prayers with out making around.

Vote for me, I am capable of bing class captain, I am well orginized and can change things to make to make our class room better, VOTE FOR ME!

Frank the train robber

WANTED

I've heard of a WANTED brother apparently he had deep, teal, darling eyes, along with dark, beaming chocolate 🍫  Coloured hair with a strong stubbly chin, long , launch, lusies legs and monstrous, stick out monkey ears. His nose is as long as his stretched out finger, my guess is Ita about 15cm long. He is wearing a long sleeve top with a blue vest over the top, with deep, dark, teal, denim jeans, and wearing creamy brown leather boots. He is as skinny as a twig and as tall as a giraffe. He has a greedy, needy way of things. If you see him please tell someone and report immediately.
